TERUMO LEARNING EDGE offers Continuing Education (CE) Programs that are designed to provide exceptional training to healthcare professionals on topics related to their expertise in Interventional Radiology and Cardiology. The live programs are one hour in length and are jointly accredited by the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT). Attendees of these programs can expect to review anatomy and procedural techniques that will enhance their clinical knowledge.

GOOD ACCESS, GOOD CLOSURE

Discuss the rate of femoral access complications, the effects on patients, length of stay and the impact on the hospital. Learn how access techniques can affect closure of femoral access sites. Discuss femoral anatomy as it relates to access and closure, and complications of the femoral access site. Understand options for femoral hemostasis.

ANGIO-SEAL® VASCULAR CLOSURE DEVICE

Learn to perform proper usage and deployment of ANGIO-SEAL® Vascular Closure Device. Provide clinical support to ensure the safe and effective use of the ANGIO-SEAL® Vascular Closure Device in accordance with the IFU. Identify and describe the components of ANGIO-SEAL and provide explanation of the various resources available on ANGIO-SEAL® Vascular Closure Device. Highlight and avoid potential clinical factors that could result in unexpected or adverse events by way of troubleshooting education.
